Ain't Dis Bout A @%#&%

Ok so I went for my sleep study on feb 12, 11 things went well (so I thought). I'm sitting in the braiding salon getting my hair braided on feb 18, 11, and get a phone call from the sleep study place. Well they have my results of the sleep study. And I'll be doggone, they told me that I tested possitive for sleep apnea!!! I was horrified  to say the least! I went back for a 2nd study to be tested for a cpap machine. I mean really, how is it that you can stop breathing in your sleep and not know it? What if I never wanted to have VSG surgery, I would've never known! Could I have died? I've had physicals, and my primary care Dr didn't find it. Or maybe she knew and just didn't tell me? All I know is that now or at least untill after surgery I have to sleep with a cpap machine on my face everytime I go to sleep! UUUGGGGHHHHH!
