A post each week
posted on 1/21/10 8:04 am
Well,

In looking back on my last post it seems that I'm on target with making a post every week. I think this is a good thing. I'm hoping I can keep this up. So here is my update.  I went to my follow-up surgery visit yesturday and it went well. The Doctor gave me my first fill since I chickened out when the after care facility tried back on January 6th. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I think the one thing that helped me was that my partner in crime was able to be there with me. The doc says that I'm loosing weight pretty well.  Prior to having surgery I was at 245. After the pre-op diet I was at 244. Most people I have spoken too lost alot of weight between the pre-op and the actual surgery. I guess my body is a little different because from my surgery date to yesturday my weigh in at the doc was 232. Which means I lost an additional 12 lbs.  Officially I have lost 13.  If you look at my clothes you can't really tell but other people have been saying they can see it in my neck. I was like dang.. was my kneck that fat...lol...13 lbs worth.. Anyhow, I'm pretty glad of the weight I have lost.  Oh ya before I forget. I was finally able to get a gym membership. My insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield has a special going on. If you purchase your gym membership through them for 29.00 a month you will be able to go to any 24 hour fitness, Balley's, Gold's Gym, Curves, and YMCA/YWCA when every you like. It was cool because the membership fee is way less then going to any of the locations and getting a single membership.  This way it is no excuss for not working out... Hopfully in my next post I will be able to update everyone on how my work out is going. I'm still working on my goals so be in the look out for that also... ttyl.
