Wow... Is it really May 22nd

I can not believe I have not posted a blog since May 9th.  Well part of the reason is because my computer went nuts. It has been in the shop over and over again. Finally after all of the computer repair payments were made and my computer still did not work the computer repair store told me that my computer was under recall from Dell. Can you believe it. After paying for them to reload my bios, install and inturnal fan and several other things it boiled down to a recall....  Well as soon as I found this information out I contacted Dell. Know I have to send my computer in to them to get it repaired. On the down side it took several weeks of no computer and paying for un-needed repairs.  On the bright side I finally found out what was wrong with my computer.  So look to see more post from me once I get my computer fixed.

Update on my workouts... Well the first week I was doing pretty well and worked out for 5 straight days. In both the second and third week I managed to get 3 days worth of workouts.  I have one more day to get in before Monday though.  Wish me luck...

The weekend was great... Now for another Strong...

This weekend went pretty well. I can really tell that I need to get a fill.  I have to make my next fill appointment really soon. On the bright side even though I could have eaten more I didn't. I just stopped and pushed my plate away.  Normally this wouldn't be the case but I have trying to really monitor myself and what I eat.  Saturday I went to Walgreens to pick up so allergy meds. On my way to the registrar I passed the chip aisle. If you don't know chips are my weakness. I walked up and down the aisle at least twice contemplating on whether or not I should grab a bag.  Then as I started on my third pace I remembered the hard workout I put in last week for 5 straight days and decided to grab a can of mixed nuts.  At least if I wanted to snack I would be getting protein. I'm so proud of myself.  Way to go....

Day 5 ...Get your Swagg on!!!

It is here...finally after a hard week of workouts, I have officially completed my first full week of working out since my surgery. It is a great feeling to know that I can finally run on the treadmill. Prior to surgery running on any surface was pretty difficult for me. When going to the gym I typically would run toward the low impact machines. I'm so proud of myself. Great Job...ladystunner....

On another note me and my partner are planning to go out tonight. On the drive home I was contemplating purchasing a new outfit instead of wearing my existing close which are too big for me. Well while I pondered this on my way home I started getting second thoughts and fearful of buying new cloths. "what if I dont find anything I can fit", "what if I'm still the same size in cloths", "what if ..what if..what if..." As I got closer to home I started feeling over whelmed and decided against purchasing something new.  When I arrived home my partner stated she had a surprise for me.  Low and behold it was a new outfit.  Everything that was bought fit. How amm I so so so so happy... Stress is gone...

Day 4 complete...Can you believe it!!!

I just got home a bit ago from a really busy day.  It started off with me waking up a bit late to go to the gym and at first I decided to go after getting home from work but then I remembered that I'm not that good at evening workouts so I got up anyway and headed straight to the gym. Due to my tardiness I was only able to run about a mile and still ended up being like 12 minutes late for work. But I was happy.  I least I got a workout in today.  The rest of my day went like this.

12:00 pm to 1:00 pm -> Toastmasters
2:00 pm to 3:00pm -> Walk through with contractor
3:15 pm to 5:30 pm -> Womens Network meeting
6:15 pm to 7:00 pm -> Pick up dog food
7:00 pm to 7:30 pm -> Spend time with my little one and update her rock collection
7:30 pm to now....Post Blog.....

Day 3 is Knocked Out

Yes... Yes...Yes... I made it on day three. You know that runners high people get. Well I feel like I'm getting it a little bit.  I really feel good after I run. I'm still having the roll out of bed challenges but I make it.  I'm so happy that I made it this far. My goal is to loose 50 by October. I know it is feasible I just have to keep my head in the game.  Thanks for all of your thoughts and encouragement.
