So I have officially left the 200 pound world behind, as of today I am weighing in at 194 with only 29 pounds until goal, yay for me, I can't believe it only 29 more pounds to go. This has been an amazing, sometimes frustrating journey but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I can enjoy so many things I couldn't before and I am so glad for that. I can't wait to reach goal, I know it's only a few weeks away and I am estatic.

Well it only took 9 months pre and post op to lose 100 pounds. 100 down 42 to go. Wow this is so so great, I can't believe it today I fit into a size 14, can you believe it a 14 I haven't seen that size in about 5 years. I'm really speechless, just so happy that I'm so so close to my goal. I can't wait to get there.

Ok so I am officially down 83 pounds, just 17 to go and I will be a member of the century club. I can't wait. I now only need to lose 60 more pounds to reach my 165 goal and then I will see if I wanna go lower which I doubt because I looked painfully thin at 165 five years ago. I realize that after all of my over analyzing I only have a small portion of weight to lose so that may be the reason I'm going so slowly and stalling so much. As frustrating as it is I know it will come off. I really want to be at goal before the new year and I'm gonna work my butt off to get rid of these last 60 pounds before 1/1/2009. I don't know I'd just like to ring in the new year with a slim and trim new shape. I'm almost in a size 16 down from a 26, that is a huge difference. I can almost fit into a pair of 16's from 5 years ago I'm so excited. Ultimately I'd like to get into a 10, that would be a first for me i might not make it because I've been cursed with a pear shape and have always had jumbo legs even when I was skinny in the past so I know a size 10 is really wishful thinking. Anyway that's my journey thus far. I can't wait to leave the 200's behind forever.

So a few things have happened. I am 6 1/2 weeks out down 25 pounds since surgery 73 total. First wow moment I realized that I am below the recommended weight limit on my home treadmill. The weight limit is 250 and I was way over that getting on the treadmill anyway. Second wow I weighed 235 this morning I haven't weighed this much since 2004. Third wow, I am in a size 20 pants, started at a 26. Fourth wow, I was able to buy a shirt out of the regular section of the store, the shirt was a 2x I'm sure I could have swung a 1x but didn't want to push it. My fifth and final wow is that while I was at the gym I noticed my knees, there starting to poke out, no longer hidden under massive flesh. I can't believe how fast things are changing. For me the clothes are getting bigger way faster than the weight coming off of the scale, while it may be bothersome that the weight isn't flying off like I expected it is good to go through sizes so fast despite the fact that clothes cost money, especially when you're buying new ones every couple of weeks.

So this morning I weighed in at 238 which means I've officially lost 70 big ones. I'm so so happy now I only have 73 to go to reach my surgeons goal. Wow hopefully that will melt off. My surgeon told me that I will see the biggest changes in the next 4-6 weeks, so I'm really looking forward to that. My first small goal is to reach onderland by September. i think it can be done, that's almost two months so I'll make it happen. I'm getting so excited now I'm just 30 pounds away from the century club, I can't believe this is happening, I can't wait for all that's in store.
