NSV- wearing kid's sized clothes with my kids
on March 23, 2013 6:15 am

We got these shirts at Justice on clearance last winter. My younger daughter Sarah likes to wear matching clothes with me. We forced Katie to match us, too kiss

NSV= cheer coach
on October 20, 2012 5:20 am
This picture is blurry, but I wanted to post it anyway (this was taken by our team mom while we were getting our team pics taken- I'll post a non-blurry one when we get them back).

4 years later I still get chocked up by NSV's. At 340 pounds, I would have never even imagined being a cheer coach. Life is good!!

A big NSV
on March 10, 2012 11:46 am

I'll admit I am a pack-rat. I often worry I'll end up like those people on "Hoarders". But sometimes it pays off. While cleaning out my junk room recently, I came across a box with my old workout clothes, circa 1990. Somehow I knew I would be thin again someday. Back in 1990 I weighed 137 pounds and was a workout queen. Ironically, today, 22 years later, I weighed in at 137 again. Here is a picture of me taken today in one of my old workout tops. Not too shabby

I made it through the holidays!!
on January 3, 2012 7:30 pm
Last year I gained 10 pounds during the holidays and it took me until late in the spring to lose the weight. This year I ate whatever I wanted, but did watch what I ate at least part of the time. I ate without guilt, knowing I would get back on track come January. Well, I went back to work today so the holidays are officially over. My weight is (drumroll, please....)

142!!

Only 2 pounds over my goal weight. Woo Hoo!!
