My Story

3.26.12: One month out! 40lbs down since Feb 9th. The weight is coming off from everywhere BUT my arms. I'm sure that's mainly because I still can't lift weights. Trying to find a solution for that. I'm so happy I made this decision!!!

2.21.12: My surgery is scheduled in two days. Thursday February 23rd, 2012 will change my life forever!

I'm a 25 year old living in the big city. I've been overweight almost my entire life. Ups and downs like the rest of the world. After 6 months of loosing weight and working out regularly I gained most of it back this past fall. It was then that I decided to finally go through and have weight loss surgery. I am currently in the last month of a 3-month Aetna approval process with Dr. Kini. My last appointment with him is on January 18th. All fingers crossed that this works out!
