Surgeon Testimonial

Michael Potter M.D.
Dr. Potter is a very kind-hearted good Dr. He takes the time to answer questions and listen to what you have to say. There is nothing I didn't like about Dr. Potter and his staff are great. Him and Dr. Arcand make a great team at the Fallon Bariatric Program. Fallon has a great aftercare program that gives you all the support you need. And the program you have to complete to get surgery is top notch. Dr. Potter makes you sign a notice of the risks and it lists everything. He went over each one with me at my consultation. He is a quitely spoken gentle and great surgeon. I would put my life in his hands again in a heartbeat. The only thing I didn't like was my hospital experiance which has no bearing on my opinion of Dr. Potter. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great and I would personally recomend him to anyone...

Depressed....
on November 17, 2011 8:46 pm
So my life is no longer the same. I can't drive or work. Hypoglycemia is affecting everything. I am doubting my dection to have had surgery. I don't like how I feel all the time. It is very scary. I feel slightly drunk all the time...I don't feel myself. I am scared that I will feel this way for the rest of my life. I am scared of dying from this. I have had death anxiety for years and now it is ten times worse. I feel like I am going to pass out several times a day. I feel like noone understands. I have constant tingling around my lips and nose. I don't feel safe being alone but obviously can't have someone around all the time. I have to constantly eat to keep my blood sugars above 90, but usually it is a struggle to keep it above 65. It is unpredictable. I could eat the same meal 5 days in a row and have a different reaction each time. I feel helpless...hopeless and scared.

Its been awhile since I've been online. Its been a long road, but I'm still going. Down to 184, had another baby and a pannulecomy. Blood sugars are crazy and I'm going to a specialist that works with post surgery patients. Had small intestinal bacterial overgrowth during pregnancy....that sucks and is caused by surgery. I went 3 years no side effects then bam got hit with everyhting at once. I hope all my OH friends from the past are still fdoing well.....
