Surgeon Testimonial

Michael Potter M.D.
Dr. Potter is a very kind-hearted good Dr. He takes the time to answer questions and listen to what you have to say. There is nothing I didn't like about Dr. Potter and his staff are great. Him and Dr. Arcand make a great team at the Fallon Bariatric Program. Fallon has a great aftercare program that gives you all the support you need. And the program you have to complete to get surgery is top notch. Dr. Potter makes you sign a notice of the risks and it lists everything. He went over each one with me at my consultation. He is a quitely spoken gentle and great surgeon. I would put my life in his hands again in a heartbeat. The only thing I didn't like was my hospital experiance which has no bearing on my opinion of Dr. Potter. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great and I would personally recomend him to anyone...

College starts today....
on July 21, 2008 9:54 am
Wow I am sooooo nervous. I feel like its the first day of highschool. I painted my nails and my toenails...lol... and I'm taking a shower and getting ready soon. I am so glad I am going, but sooo nervous all at the same time. I know this will make me be able to help my family so much after I graduate... only 2 years.... wow it seems like thats so far away, but I know it will fly by. Then I'll be at goal weight, working and thinking about having more kids..... let me not get ahead of myself...wish me luck tonight everyone... I know I'll be fine, but all the support I can get I'll take...Lauren

Okay here is the begining of a list of things I want to do again after I loose enough weight...

1 Horseback riding
2 Skiing
3 Amusment park rides
4 Jogging for the first time
5 Water skiing
6 Shop in a regular clothes store
7 Play basketball (not just shoot hoops)
8 Play baseball or softball with my kids
9 Ride a bike without falling over...lol...
10 Go to Disney World for the first time
11 Enjoying shoe shopping
12 Being able to tie my shoes without putting my leg up on something
13 have little to NO back pain
14 Be able to go into a crowded place without getting nervous as hell
15 Not feel like I'm the fat friend anymore
16 being able to do my hair without my arms feeling like they are going to fall off after 5 minutes

I'm sure this list will grow..... and shrink...then grow some more...

My Story

I'm a 27 year old stay at home mom of 2 beautiful kids. Alyssa is almost 1 and my son Caelen is 9. I am currently waiting for my husbands HMO to kick in. He has to wait 3 months seeing as he started his new job. Can't wait to get things started. I've been considering surgery for 5 years, but am now mentally ready to do it.
