Surgeon Testimonial

Philip Cohen
Dr. Cohen has been great. Very straight forward, which I like. Great personality. Will have first op appoint with him February ninth. His office staff is also exceptional. Jay was great in reassuring me that my insurance would be accepted.

6 lbs =]
on October 4, 2011 3:40 pm
Quick post.. I have not had surgery yet, but Since the beginning of the month I am down six lbs. I am really feeling great about this. I just hope I don't gain it back. I hope to lose four more before my next appointment!

Struggling with looks
on October 1, 2011 2:45 pm
Today I am four pounds down from starting weight. I am waiting to start the skills classes on the 25Th of Oct. I am also talking exercise classes too, and I am doing swim aerobics on my own at the YMCA.

I am having trouble dealing with how I will look after surgery. I have never in my life been skinny or beautiful. Everyone says I am but I do not see it. I know that my health is more important than my looks but I am having trouble dealing with what I will look like post gastric after I lose the weight. My goal is 120-125.. I do not wish to be perfect, just healthy.

I have lumbar spondylosis and it is so hard to do much exercising without causing a lot of pain in my back hips and knee. I wish the pain would go away.

My over all goal is just to be able to run... without embarrassment of my jiggling fat or the pain that comes with it.
