Life is Good!

Life is good! I lost 25 lbs. last month, and another 10 this month! This is what I ate today -- tuna salad (about 1 cup!) for breakfast...Chinese BUFFET for lunch (a teriyaki chicken
skewer, 3 strips of peanut chicken, another hunk of some other type
of chicken, about 1/4 cup of rice noodles, a sushi roll, and small
piece of cheesecake), afternoon snack--more tuna salad (another
cup!)....Dinner (starting to run out of stomach space at this point) half a chicken thigh (with skin) with a small amount of steamed spinach...........I think I enjoy food even more now than
I did before--I can still obsess about it, plan meals, and schedule
my life around eating! I can go to a buffet, and it's not even
noticeable to anyone that I've had WLS! It's unbelievable to me that
I'm still losing weight. I guess I AM eating much less than I did
pre-op, but it doesn't even feel like it! I lost 3 pounds last week.
This puts my total up to 35 pounds! This is not as fast as some people, but I was only 42 BMI to begin with. This great lady (Starr) on the DS Forum has put together a spreadsheet where we log everyone's weight loss for each month, so I can see from
this that I'm perfectly average for my starting weight. Looks like
20-30 pounds is about right for the first month, then 10-15 for the
next months. Go here for Starr's data chart:
