Surgeon Testimonial

Naresh Ahuja M.D.
My first impression of Dr. Ahuja was his friendliness and willingness to answer any question. Before I even saw him in the office, I spoke to him at a couple support group meetings. I am a sleeve patient and had no complications at all. I had a wonderful experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. Dr. Ahuja is very clear about what he expects from his patients, thorough in pre-op testing and has an excellent bedside manner. I love going to the office because everyone knows me by name and even the nurses at Herrin Hospital were fantastic. The office has always been quick to return my calls and very courteous. Aftercare has been just as important as the surgery itself and support group meetings are a must for me as they help keep me focused and on track. I highly recommend Dr. Ahuja at New Life Weight Loss Center!

My Story

http://theamazingdisappearingme.blogspot.com/

I'm Lisa, 32, from Southern Illinois.  I've been married for 8 years and have 4 children.  My twin boys are 6, my daughter is 5 and my oldest daughter would have been 7 this year, she was stillborn.  Now that my kids are in school, I decided to go back to school myself.  I'm working on my Social Work degree.

I'm at my highest weight ever and feel like I have tried everything.  I feel like I need weight loss surgery if I'm going to lose weight and keep it off.  I can't do this on my own, I need a helping hand!  I've lost up to 72 lbs before on my own using a low carb diet but as soon as I went off of it, I regained over 100 lbs.  I don't think I will ever be successful at keeping the weight off without a tool.
