My name is Lauren.  I had surgery on 12/10/07 and have lost 233lbs.  I am mom to my fur-baby cats Piper and Cali.  I am enjoying life with a very special someone, my fiance, three fur-lumps, plans for a dog and living in a beautiful home.  I have my health and am so thankful to live longer and share more time with the special people that mean the most to me.

My Story

My pre-surgery weight was 369 at 5'7".  I was 350+lbs for approximately 6 years.  I maintained a weight between 200-240lbs for two years prior to that.  Overall I gained weight to go from 150lbs in Oct 1998 to 369lbs in June 2007.  The reason for my weight gain was medication related AT FIRST.  I gained 120lbs due to a side effect of meds, and then I snowballed from there due to my own accord.

UPDATE 5/1/11 - Life is WONDERFUL.  SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!
