Have probably the same story as a lot of people on here.  Have been overweight since early on -- as far back as I can remember, was always bigger than all the others in my class.  I have always been able to lose weight, but ended up putting it all back on plus some.  So in my search for the right tools, emotional eating classes, I decided that WLS was the only option for me at this point in my life.

 On November 29th, I saw the surgeon, nutritionist and psychiatrist all in the same day.  Surgery was scheduled for 12/22/06.  Minor bump in the road, Cigna denied me and I had to appeal.  Surgery postponed, I was devastated.  I won my appeal with Cigna on 12/29/06 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!   SURGERY SCHEDULED FOR 1/19/07.

 Had all my preop tests done and was ready for surgery.  January 19th, went to hospital for surgery and that is pretty much my story.  20 days later here I am writing this.
