Hi there. I was reading your profile and thought it was similar to mine. Although, I am not sure about your height. How tall are you? Although my BMI is 41.8 I feel like I am smaller than most people considering the surgery. I am 5’3”. I am anticipating you may be a bit shorter? Have you received good feedback from your surgery? I am afraid that people are going to think I look sick because they are use to me being heavy. I hope to hear back from you. Brandi Knapp (NH)

Laura, CONGRATS on your big day coming up. Since we have the same surgeon I know your in EXCELLENT hands and will do great!! If you are nervous when you get to the hospital, when you meet the anast......the guy who puts ya to sleep..LOL tell him you want something to relax you. He will give ya a shot of something in your IV and with in 20 seconds you wont remember a damn thing. I dont even remember how they got my fat ass from the bed to the operating table. Im guessing I walked cause I know they sure the heck didnt pick me up and move me, unless they had a crane in there. Anyway, you will be in my thoughts and prayers for a smooth surgery and quick recovery. Keep us posted and let us know how your doing. IM going to be up that way Friday, if you dont mind, I;ll sneak up and visit you. If thats ok you can email me your full name, I would kind need to know exactly who Im lookin for....LOL.
