I am scheduled for Laproscopic Gastric Bypass in Little Rock, AR Aug. 8th 2007. My surgeon is Dr. Mark Gibbs. I have been thinking about GB for a few years now. Since I joined OH, my BMI has gone from 35.5 to 37!!! It is NOW or never. I am not
slowed down too much by my weight, but I tire easliy. With a 4 year old to chase around, I can't afford to be tired. I want to be healthy for her, my other daughter and my husband. They deserve the best I can give them and I deserve the best me I can be!
First of all, I want to thank all of you who sent me well wishes and advice. My story has taken a BIG turn! I arrived In little Rock for pre-op on 08/07/2007. Everything went fine. My appointment with Dr. Gibbs was at 3:00 that same afternoon. The nurse enter the room with my folder in hand. She told me and my husband that there was a problem with my bloodwork. "You are pregnant", were her words to us. We were and still are in total shock. After trying unsuccessfully for 4 years to have another baby, we find out we are pregnant! All the time I put into having WLS and now I have to put it on hold. Is God trying to tell me something? Apparently YES! This is not my time. He still has work for me to do. So dear friends, I bid you all farewell for now. I will coninue to pray for you all and please do the same for me.
