Time For an Update
posted on 9/6/09 10:26 pm
It's been a while since I've posted anything.

It's been 2yrs and 4mo since my surgery. I lost down to 139.5lbs and stayed there for a few months before getting my bounceback. I now have been sitting between 155 and 158 for the past few months. I wear anywhere from a size 4 to size 10 jeans/dockers depending on the brand.

I'm very happy with my quality of life and I literally can eat anything that I have the urge to eat. I don't like some of the things I used to, though. I don't care for pizza or spaghetti much anymore or any kind of pasta really. I tend to want meat for the most part. I love steak and chicken and they are both a huge part of my diet.

I don't have any bowel or gas issues and really haven't had any since I was about a year out. I took Flagyl for some bad gas bloating back then and it cleared right up and things have been normal ever since. My routine is once in the morning, maybe once at work depending on what I eat while I'm there, and maybe once before bed. I'd say I average twice a day.

That's about it for me for now. My weight is pretty stable and has been for a while, so I doubt I'll be updating this blog much anymore. If you're a pre-op reading this, good luck and make sure you do a good amount of research.
