I am home and surgery is finally behind me, all went smoothly, Dr. Schlesinger was amazing simply said... now the true battle begins...

SURGERY

Ok, well my surgery is 2 days away, I am terrified and nervous and everything else, the butterflies have begun to erode my insides....need to some support, anyone???

My Story

  I am an almost 40 year old mother of 4 amazing kids aged 4-18...battling the demons of obesity for too many years...
My most recent test results demonstrated that my body will no longer take the abuse and I made the decision to have the Lap band procedure which will take place in 2 days on the 11th of September.
 I am scared and terrified but so ready to do this, i feel there is no other choice for me.
Finding this site has been amazing for me, strangers reaching out to me and I to them,  has helped me tremendously.
 My goal is to get to 160 lbs... wish me luck !
