 My name is Laura Miller I am 20 years old and I had my surgery December 14th 2011. This site is new to be but I will try and edit it when I have time. I have a full time job, love animals and once I have become fit and train more I am going to join the RCMP. If anyone has questions please do not hesitate to ask.

My Story

 My story,

Well I have always been a bit overweight. In grade 7 I lost most of my weight when I got into basketball and martial arts. After grade 10 I started gaining all my weight back and didnt care. By the time second year of university came I realized how big I have gotten and how miserable I was. I have tried many diets and weight managment programs out there but none seemed to work for me. My life is put on hold to the fact that once I have had my surgery, lost weight, exercised and trained I will be joining the RCMP. I have always wanted to be a police officer and I am very excited to start a new life once I have healed from my surgery. 
Another big part of having this surgery is my body image issues. I have had relationships but in the past I have looked for someone who is interested in me and found a way to become interested in them after that. I am very confident in myself and my life and I would like to have that same confidence with my body again. I do not really know what else to say if you have any questions please do not hestiate to ask.
