This is MY testimonial: My name is Lori, I live in a very small town in south central Michigan. I have fought my weight like a yo-yo for my whole life. I went thru all the seminars and evaluations to wait for my insurance to send a letter to say we are so sorry but we don't participate with that group. It happened to me 3 times. Finally fed up with the insurance company I googled where to have safe but inexpensive lapband. I checked out all of them but Dr. A's stuck in my head and I printed off all of the info and gave it to my primary physician and he checked him out and I called Nina and got the ball rolling. On July 20th we were picked us up at the San Diego Airport and taken to Mexicali and had all of the pre-op testing done and then off to a beautiful hotel for the night and on July 21st I had my surgery and done quite well. I never in my life believed that this kind of surgery would work but it has. The Hospital is so clean it was amazing and the most amazing thing was that Dr A himself checked in on me 2-3 times a day. How many times do you see your surgeon or your Dr. when you are hospitalized in the states? Not that our Dr.s are not any good but it was exceptional there.
I took my daught in law with me as my companion and they treated her as great as they treated me. 
I speak only English but they had a sheet of paper with helpful conversions but I never once had to use it. I would go to Dr. A and his satff over and over if I had to.
