Surgeon Testimonial

A. Joseph Cribbins
I would highly recommend Dr. Cribbins in Plano, TX. He was very compassionate and came to check on me every morning after I had the RNY surgery. He made me feel very comfortable during the entire process.

I would also recommend his partner Dr. Stephen Hamn. Dr. Hamn performed my gallbladder removal when Dr. Cribbins was unavailable.

They are both extremely knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate physicians. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The staff @ Hamn & Cribbins is awesome.

I would give both doctors a 10 for explaining the procedures and bedside manners.

I would recommend them both to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

Feeling awful
on March 3, 2010 8:38 pm
I knew I shouldn't have had toast with a little bit of peanut butter.  I wanted a little protein that wasn't sweet like all the shakes. My stomach felt awful and I wanted to just scream. I took 2 gas x's and am feeling somewhat better. My husband scolded me for eating that. He's being a trooper, but wants me to stick to the program.
It's so hard to find something to eat without making a whole meal when you are hungry. I am sick of all the shakes. I do not like sweets anymore.

Gallbladder removed
on March 3, 2010 5:44 pm
Nearly 2 weeks post RNY surgery and I had to have my gallbladder removed. It wasn't that bad. The hospital staff was great. I just hope that I am done with surgeries. My new pouch is still recovering from all the surgeries and attempts to eat solid food. I don't crave sweets, I don't eat unless I am hungry and I hardly eat anything.

1 week until surgery
on February 9, 2010 6:58 pm
I had my pre-op visit with Dr. Cribbins today. I have all my drinks and all my vitamins. I took my before fat pictures. Wow, I have a lot of chins. I am still nervous, but I cannot wait. Goodbye high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes.

Received surgery date today
on January 26, 2010 5:51 pm
I received a surgery date today for Gastric Bypass scheduled for 2/16/2010. I know that I should be excited, but I am really scared. I am doing this to lose weight, feel better, eliminate my type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. So, why I am still scared when I know this is the right thing to do.
