Peter Henderson
What was your first impression of him/her? He is to the point. He doesn't sugar coat anything.

How would you describe his/her office staff? They are the nicest people I've dealt with. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love that they keep me updated and follow through on everything they say.

What should future patients know about him/her? If you are looking for a staff with your best interest, then they are the ones to deal with.
How much does he/she emphasize aftercare? They educate you constantly. They also prepare a kit for you to study and have as reference.

Does he/she have a structured aftercare program? Yes
How did he/she address the risks of surgery? He went over it a few times and mailed an information packet

Losing-slowly but surely

Well, it's been over 4 months since my surgery. I am 41 pounds lighter than my pre-op weight. The numbers are slowly going down. I've finally made it to Onederland! I love my band!!!!!!!

Well, this is my first blog. I completed my three months of doctor and dietician on 8/17/10.  I thought that this would be a long process, but to my surprise it hasn't been. My surgeon submitted my clinicals to Aetna on Monday and I got my approval today. I'm am scheduled for surgery on 9/22/10. I will be so glad when I get past the two week pre-op diet. If anyone has any advise for me during this phase, I would greatly appreciate it.
