Drs. Garth and Robert Davis are absolutely wonderful! I met with Dr. Garth D. yesterday, and today I have my surgery date of Feb. 21! (It went so fast because I've already been approved and have had all my tests)rnrnTheir office staff is friendly and warm, and I'm really looking forward to working with them.rnrnI have a huge packet to read all about the surgery and aftercare, but it's all easy to understand. rnrnThe Drs. Davis are heading up the new Bariatric Unit here at Methodist hospital. When it's finished, they will have all the resources for all the tests you need contained in the one clinic: Psych, nutrition, ultrasound, cardiology, etc.rnrnI have great confidence in their surgrical competence, and their bedside manner is wonderful.

    Wow I'm bad about posting in here! I've had a tummy tuck (in January 2007) and will be talking to my plastic surgeon this afternoon about a buttlift. I've only lost 112 lbs - have at least 40 more to go - but he thinks at least 20 will come off the backside.

    I thought I'd post a little something :) Today I weighed and have lost 40 lbs. Tomorrow will be two months since my surgery. Unfortunately LOL - I'm melting from the top down! I have NO boobs hardly and still have a big butt.

    Hey everybody - I'm going home today. Still have a lot of bloating and gas but other than that I am fine. I met one of "us" in the hall yesterday - waving to Tamara P - and she seems fine. Lynne
