I was released from the hospital today. So glad to be home but miss the restfulness I had at the hospital. Got make home just as comfortable as it was there. I had my surgery at 7am on 7/2/12 and was in the recovery room by 10am. I didn't get a room until about 6pm. It was difficult to get comfortable in the recovery room. They had me set up to all kinds of monitors and asked me to breathe hard like every 5 mins of the monitor would alarm. Other than that my stay was nice, not too much pain. It wasn't unbearable, but I'm concerned that now that I am back home I won't have the luxury of the I.V drip lol :-). I wish I could have one here but I have to take my meds by mouth just like everyone else. Just glad to be home!

When I joined this site it was mostly only to read and research other people's experiences. I really had no intention of becoming active on this site. I didn't want to join in on any converstations or include my own story and I just started thinking I really don't have any other type of support other than my husband. I have been lashing out about not having anyone to really express my concerns and issues with and realized um duh that's why this site it here for you. So I want to at least make the effort to use the tools available me and I if I have to use this site to divulge all of my emotions and feelings then so be it.
