Surgeon Testimonial

Ki Hyun Oh M.D.
'I have only had one consultation with Dr Oh so far but I have talked to several of his patients who have already had the surgery and they speak very highly of him. He was very nonjudgemental and found something positive to say about me which meant a lot.rnrnThe office staff is efficient and very professional. I know at least one of them has had the surgery herself and she is beautiful!rnrn6/13/06 - I have completed all of the pre-surgery tests/office visits. In my opinion

Thank you for words of encouragement. My surgery went just fine. I had very little pain and was up, dressed and ready to go home at 6:30 a.m. the next morning! Of course it was just my luck that I was low on phosphorous and they spent four hours delivering it to me via IV so I didn't get to leave until noon. Oh well. I went straight from the hospital to my office for three hours and then home to play with my miniature dachshund and then finally to nap! It is 6:30 a.m. on Thursday and I am back in my office for a few hours. I feel great - still no significant pain and I am just excited to be "on the losing side" and beginning my journey!

The weather has improved some here and I have managed to walk a total of 22 miles so far this week. On the weekend we did a 3 mile and then a 5 mile hike in snow on a mountain road/trail. It was awesome to get out in the fresh air and really push the old bod! Our little miniature dachshund walked most of the way with us but when the snow got too deep we put him in a backpack lined with soft blankets. He basically insisted on standing up in it so he could look over my husband's shoulder at where we were going. So cute! I feel so much better for having had this much exercise. I also keep up going to Curves 4 - 5 times per week and I can really tell that it helps - to be honest my "girls" have never looked better! The muscles underneath are tightening up and so they aren't sagging unduly for my age :-)

The sun is shining and it should warm up later so I am looking forward to another vigorous walk. Now if this exercise would only show on the scale! Not 1 pound! But I did tighten my belt another notch  -  I may be losing inches even though the scale is not moving.
