Nutrition Class

Yesterday I had my first nutrition class at Arcadia Methodist. It was interesting going over the post-op diet. We even got to try some protein drinks. I met a real nice gal from Lancaster. She is a teacher. I will keep her in my prayers. I have 2 more nutrition classes to attend. My next one is September 6th. I also am going to keep everybody that lives in the path of Hurricane Katrina in my prayers. Wow! What a storm!!

Scheduling

I have been working very hard today to get all of my appointments scheduled. I have scheduled 2 of my 3 nutrition classes. Started my diet journal. Made my appointment to have my pap with my OB/GYN but they will also give me 5 year weight history since I have had 3 children in the past 6 years. I have my first psych appointment too already scheduled. Once I get all these appointments complete, I believe they can submit my package to the insurance office for approval. I am being realistic in my thinking. I believe that my surgery will not scheduled until Dec or Jan. Hey, I can wait!! As long as it happens sooner than later!!! I am getting that excited feeling again!!!

My Birthday!

Well, I am back from my cruise and today is my 33rd birthday. I just want sooo much to be on the losing side. I really hate the way I feel and look. This is just not me. I have so much to do to try to get approval for my surgery. I know that I can do it. I just need to be diligent. I feel that there are so many hurdles to jump over to get what I want. I have to believe that if this is God's will then it will happen. I just pray one day that I will be one of the BIG losers. I hope that by my next birthday that I will be a thinner, healthier me. That is my birthday wish!!!!
