I know... I said I would never have surgery again...
but here I am!

I am scheduled for a septoplasty & balloon sinuplasty to fix my breathing dilemma --- MAY 7.

I am very scared. My body does not agree with narcotics and that's why my recovery from the DS was so difficult.... and now, here I go again!

Well, I know I'll be better able to breathe soon so - I'm ready!

2/11/08 : I had just gotten ready for work and about to walk down the steps when a sharp severe pain shot up my back from the lower right flank area... I stopped in my tracks. Unable to move and breathing shallow I strained to get out the words "help! I need help!"
My mom rushed to the steps and saw me hunched over grabbing at my back... She told me to come downstairs but I couldn't move.
The pain got worse, so bad I felt my entire body tense up.. and then I started vomiting.

We rushed to the hospital... only to find out I had kidney stones.

4 to be exact.

I have still not passed a single stone.

Docs are partially blaming my DS and hoping that I'll start a low-protein diet.
OMG! I'll die.

I've got to work something out.. this is awful.

I thought size 14 felt great... until I shrunk into a size 12!!!
I comfortably wear my size 12 jeans (still 14-16 tops) and feel good.

Currently, at 182 pounds, I've lost 103 pounds!!!

I'm coming up on 8 month post-op and I think I'm doing very well.

to celebrate 6 months since my surgery i went out to the lycoming mall and saw a movie.
before the movie, i had some time at the mall so i went clothes shopping.. and wouldn't ya know... i'm a size 14!!!

6 months ago i was a size 26-28. wow.

i'm just so excited!!!
