I am almost 17 months out. The window for weight loss easily is gone, but that's okay. I have to struggle for these last few pounds, but they are coming off.

Advise to my 18 year old self

I love the post on the board about what advise I would give the 18 year old Mary if I could go back in time. I would Never give up Don, John, and Scott, I just might change the path towards them a little. Here is my advise to that young lifeguard who thought that her blonde hair and dark tan would last forever.
1. Love your family, treasure your grandparents, you will miss them so when they are gone.
2. Your mom and dad love you and will do literally anything for you. Appreciate them, don't make them have to prove their love
3. Hot boys + alcohol + hooks-ups do not equal love.
4. FINISH your education. You parents want to pay for it, they see it as their job. Appreciate it
5. Don't lose touch with your church and God. That is a part of who you are
6. Honesty is more important than anything. People will still love you despite your faults

Seems like I keep saying this. I did not do well with eating today, but I didn't do horribly either.
Don is still mad mad jealous that I was AT a dance club in MB where men MIGHT have been looking at me. I told him that I think he is trying to turn me back into the fat scared shy person I was.
I hate teenagers, love my son, but HATE the age 16.
Still trying to deal with and regulate Scott's ritalin plus he's been having asthma attacks so we have to have the medicine that totally hypes him up. I've finally got him settled down on the couch.
Good news is I got a size 8 dress on this body. It fit, a little tight, but it fit.
