Four years out
on September 28, 2010 8:34 am
Well i turly forgot about the date until I saw a happy surgiversary on an email.
This year I am about 340 but I graze most of the time I am home, which is getting to be a problem. I am going in 4 days a week to work with the high school kids.
My arthritis and fibromyalgia are really bad this year. I had shoulder replacement surgery last April and it is slow healing and getting back the use of it. But I could be worse and I am glad I did not gain a whole lot of weight back....
Surgery is NOT a fast fix it is something you will always need to fight gaining weight.I am appreiative not to have a troubles with the surgery as many do.
Well we will see what next year brings??

Here I swore I wouldn't be one of those that quit writing but................
At this time i am about 345 lb yes I have gained some. my hunger has returned big time. I really enjoyed in the start not being hungry.
I had a shoulder replacement and that has been so hard. I had that April 19th and still do not have full use. Then i had to have cataract surgery.
So for what i am dealing with I am not doing too bad. I am still glad that I had surgery RYN but wish I would have been able to exercise more and loose at least in the 200's. I knew if I weighed 200 lbs in 6th grade I would not weigh that now surgery or not. My MD says just  work at maintance becsuse my body has picked a weight. She says she doesn't want me having stomah problems like so many.
I have gotten sick "virus" we think and thrown up  two different bouts in the last 8 moonths. Which I never did before but may not even be connected.......

Surgerversary
on September 27, 2009 5:26 pm
I was writing in my journel last night and I said when I wrote the date; wow I nearly forgot I had surgery 3 yrs ago today.
I am about 329-334 it fluxiates.
The thing I wish i would have realized early on is that i would reach a point where I still had to watch what I ate, count calories etc. I some how thought I would only be able to eat so little i would never be able to eat too much. Not true!!!
Since i have so many physical issues my fibro and my arthritis I just can not exercise that much, that has made an impact on loosing. My PCP says for me to just maintain not to set out to loose any more. My surgeon's want me to loose 100# yet. I weighed 200 in 6 th grade my face would look like a skeleton if I could loose 100#.
But I am happy and can do so much more now. My chlosterol, blood pressure and thyroid are all fine. So I am happy.

My Birthday
on February 7, 2009 6:46 pm
February 3rd my 62 nd birthday. Hubby took me to eat at Buga boo's and to see the movie Inkheart. I ate some buttered popcorn.
I am not loosing much lbs but my body is doing some changing.
I went into school/ where I volunteer on the 6th and they had bought me a cake and made a card. My supervisor said now you cannot eat that can you. i said no but I am honored you did it and I will enjoy seeing all of you enjoying the cake. All was well. If I would try a piece and could eat it what would stop me??? I'd rather not know...

Another Christmas
on December 31, 2008 2:29 pm
I actually weigh about the same as last Christmas. I think my body likes this 312 lbs.
I am trying to get more protein in and I do feel better if I get close to 100 grams of protein in a day but that is hard to do.
My arthritis in my arm is killing me so I am down about that.. but other health issues are still good. Thank God I had the surgery....
