thinking about you
my friend -- passing
on 2 things I
learned post op (now
just 8 days...) my
dr said juice in
Mexico -- even tho
"Andes Light" does
not appear clear but
is OK - it has
protein and few
carbs and for me
went down better
than water - platano
is 'fruit' sort of
banana flavor and
fresco was favorite
strawberry. The
other thing great to
know is make top
ramen or other brand
and pour broth off
is much better than
just making broth.
Most choices at
Walmart for juice.
Happy for you my
friend to now be
post op. I'm so
excited for us.
xoxo Laurie
I just wanted to
wish you all the
luck on your big
day. I will be
sending lots of
prayers for you my
OH friend. Get well
soon and hope you
become a big loser
soon lol.
Hugs, Legina
<------ That's me, ecstatic as I've finally made the decision that will help me have a longer, happier, healthier life. I've made up my mind after several years of researching the possibility of having a WLS and always backing away....... that I've now discovered the procedure that is right for me. I want to say a big THANK YOU to OH for being here, to Holli and Karen guiding me here to OH with all of its resources in the first place and for all of the people that post and provide people like me that have lurked with the information and pure feedback that is truly needed. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and after the surgery it will lift off of my body as well. My story is similar to so many other people here on OH and I just know now is the time for me to make the change. Am I nervous? maybe a bit, I think that's normal, but I know I've made one of the best choices of my life.
