Eliot Sieloff, M.D.
My first impression of Dr. S was a very good one. He's knowledgeable, kind, soft spoken and he makes sure you know everything you need to know. Him and his office staff are AMAZING!! They are very diligent and make sure you are taken care of. If a problem arises They are VERY good at taking care of it ASAP!! There's nothing I didn't/don't like about Dr. Sieloff. Future patients should know that he will do whatever it takes to take care of you and guide you through the process. He's realistic and he treats his patients like real people, he addresses the risks and assures you he and his team do everything to minimize those risks. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Sieloff and his staff, Jody his nurse is amazing and they are so in tune with their patients! He's not only a VERY competent Surgeon, but his bedside manner is amazing!

    Wow Amanda I was reading your page and I have to tell you when i do it is like you are me all you r feelings, it is the way I feel all the time everyday and I know that we are better than that. I hope that all goes well today and that I can follow your progress and hope to use your story as insperation for myself......Sending angels to watch over you.

And now.....we wait!!

Ok so since my last post I've had to have an emergency hysterscopy and D&C on the 7th, NO FUN At all!! Feeling better overall! 
Last week I again called my surgeon's office to talk to the insurance girl and she told me there was something about my history they were trying to clear up so she wasn't sure of what the status was and to call her back in a week. UGH So....this morning I called her back, she told me she'd call me right back and didn't..go figure! I had errands to run and a Dr's appointment, but when I came home there was a message from her. So, I guess it's already been submitted to insurance cause she said on the message that she called my insurance company and should get a determination within 72 hours!! OMG!! Now I'm anxouse as I've ever been. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm used to being denied for things so it's hard not to have that lump in my gut.
It's in God's hands now! All I can do is pray and think positive! I'm highly qualified for the surgery so I don't see why they would deny me.
Fingers and toes crossed.......and wait!!!

Lots of stuff going on

I'm getting really frustrated! I keep calling my surgeon's office to talk to the insurance gurl and she's always busy and never returns my calls! I've tried not to be a pest about it but when you say you're going to call someone the next day you should do it! When I talked to her last week she told me she was going to contact my insurance and see if everything I needed was there so she could submit the paperwork for approval. I called the office a few times today and got put on hold for 20 min. each time but never got to talk to her. So tomorrow I will call again!!
Aside from that I'm having major issues! I have to have a minor surgery because of female issues so that's got me all worked up.
Somehow in the last month I've lost 10 pounds and my BMI went down a point! Not sure how but I'm not complaining, lol The weather's been nothing but rain for the last month so I haven't been able to get to the pool to work out.
I'm getting overly anxious and want to have my WLS!!
