My first impression of Dr. S was a very good one. He's knowledgeable, kind, soft spoken and he makes sure you know everything you need to know. Him and his office staff are AMAZING!! They are very diligent and make sure you are taken care of. If a problem arises They are VERY good at taking care of it ASAP!! There's nothing I didn't/don't like about Dr. Sieloff. Future patients should know that he will do whatever it takes to take care of you and guide you through the process. He's realistic and he treats his patients like real people, he addresses the risks and assures you he and his team do everything to minimize those risks. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Sieloff and his staff, Jody his nurse is amazing and they are so in tune with their patients! He's not only a VERY competent Surgeon, but his bedside manner is amazing!

    Wow Amanda I was reading your page and I have to tell you when i do it is like you are me all you r feelings, it is the way I feel all the time everyday and I know that we are better than that. I hope that all goes well today and that I can follow your progress and hope to use your story as insperation for myself......Sending angels to watch over you.

I got me a date with a Dr!!!

I had my consult with the Surgeon on Monday and it went well. Everything is good, he answered all of my questions and was very assuring. He's a wonderful Dr. I scheduled my surgery for Feb 25th! Less than a month away! I'm anxious and scared, but I'm ready! I'm ready to begin a new life, get healthy and start really living for the first time! My husband is taking a week off to help me, although he'll have to work two of the days I'm in the hospital, but I'll be out of it and it's better than him watching me sleep, lol. I never thought this would actually become a reality and here I am weeks away from having surgery. It's been on my mind for at least the last three years and now after tons of research, watching friends go through WLS I've decided that this is what I need to do to get my life back. I want to much out of life to keep living like this. I have so many dreams and things I want to do that I'm unable to because of my weight. I'm so excited to go through this process and watch myself change and grow healthier not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. A lot of the reasons I started gaining weight was to hide and keep people out but I'm ready to break out of my shell!
So I have a lot of things to take care of before I have surgery, including getting the guest room ready for my sister coming down from Colorado.
It'll be here before I know it! I can't wait!
