Hello! I've been obese for the past 25 years, have had a few heart attacks, and am a type 1 diabetic on insulin pens. I had surgery to try and avoid more health problems and take back my life four years ago on August 1, 2007! Everything about how I lived changed post-op, but to have the chance to avoid another M.I. and walk up a flight of stairs without being winded, I was ready!! Four years later, I've regained about 30 pounds....lots more than I ever thought I would. Now I have to find the strength and desire to get back to basics, back to better eating habits....back to health and claim my life back. I'm not happy feeling and looking how I do at this weight and need to FINALLY reach my goal!
