My Story


I am 63 yrs old, still working and living with my Canadian husband of 9 years. I came to Canada from Australia in Oct '98 after marrying in July of the same year. I left behind 4 children, 7 grandchildren and have since had one more grandchild and two great grandsons and another due at Christmas.
I was banded on July 5th 2007 by Dr Yau at TLBC in Toronto and while I still struggle with old emotional eating habits this is the best thing Ive ever done.  Its given me hope and for once in my life Im taking care of me.
To anyone considering Lapbanding, I say go for it.
