And the Journey Begins

Went to Houston for the seminar, meet the surgeon(s), have my dietary and psych eval for May 7 & 8th.  I have taken all my necessary information to them and they are sending everything to my insurance company for approval.  Since I understand that this can be a lengthy process, I was happy to get it rolling sooner rather than later.  However, as Murphy's Law goes, what can...will.  I was missing a rather crucial piece of paperwork...evidence of my obesity for the last 5 years, so off I go back to my PCP to have that information faxed to the office in Houston.  Doing this long distance is going to be interesting, but it's the only way insurance will pay for it.  I just wish that there was a physician/hospital in the Hill country that was on the BCBS approved list.
