…and counting.  Let’s see…(1)I have called my PCP with surgery date, (2)called the corporation that handles our short-term disability and FMLA, (3)emailed the insurance company with the final surgery date, have I missed anyone?  I even called my older sister, who lives in Oregon and I wasn’t going to tell before I saw her in September and SHE had told her daughter in San Francisco before I had gotten off the phone. It’s OK, though! I actually slept really well last night. I think that I didn’t sleep well last week for worrying about the unknown.  Now that I know, I hit the pillow and was semi-comatose before I knew what had hit me.  I’m even considering starting the pre-op diet a few days or even 2 weeks early, it certainly can’t hurt, right? I’m ready! Now what do I do?
