Well, I went to the OH Seminar in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago.  It was great!!! While some of the breakout sessions and vendors were good, meeting all the people from around Texas was the best part.  Love this board, but it is so much better to "know" someone.

Went to see my PCP last week.  Unfortunately, I have gained back about 30lbs. in the past 8 months, so I am hitting the basics hard again...like fluids, walking, etc.  It looks like I am headed for Incisional Hernia repair and TT late this year (around/during Christmas).  I am kind of excited, kind of scared. 

I posted a new pic yesterday of me in the rental I had while my convertible is in the shop.  Kind of funny in a Texas kind of way. 

Football season is here and any minute, Texas will have its week of fall/winter/spring which is generally great convertible weather.  I can't wait.  Looks like I may be road tripping around Texas in my convertible soon.  Look out, here I come.

My Golden Retriever (Martha Stewart Phillips Jacobs) had 9 puppies (5 Male, 4 Female) on 12/14.  They are incredibly cute and will be ready to go to new home on or about Valentine's Day.  Get your order in early, they will go quick.  Males $325, Females $375.  First Come First Choice.  They are full blooded AKC registered Golden Retrievers.  Great for pets, show, obedience training, or hunting dogs.  The best of dispositions around a family.  I will be putting pix up later this week.  Have a great holiday!!!

Well, saw the doc today.  Got weighed.  As you can see, my slow spot has gone by and I lost 15 pounds over the last month.  I guess being tortured on Thanksgiving was worth it, but MAN WAS THAT HARD.  It was my Brother-In-Law's turn this year, and he and his hubby really put on a gourmet spread.  There was Turduckhen, stuffed pork loin, dressings, various other great dishes including desserts.  It was SO hard to look but not touch...but I did it (although I was not in the best of moods).  I had a little turduckhen and little dressing...both were fanstastic.  Now for the bad news...my incisional hernia has grown and my primary doc is referring me for surgery ASAP.  I had hoped to make it until next summer, but that's life.  He also said he wasn't sure if he will be able to make a case for my panni being medical necessity.  That bummed me out.  Hope to see all my friends soon.

Hey everyone,
As many of my friends and most of my suupport group know, I am still way busy.  I do get on and check the boards pretty much daily, but I am not contributing much.  I have Monday night school (UC-CL), so I am still missing all of the meetings.  I bowl on Tuesday night, and I have football/now basketball with my 13 year old son on Wednesday nights.  As you can see, my schedule is pretty full.  I am going to try to make it to Deb's on 11/18 and maybe the Renaissance Festival on 11/11.  I hope you are all doing great and I miss walking with you guys.
