Wade Barker, M.D.
My first impression of his office was BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! I was the last patient he saw that day and we didnt really \"talk\". Very professional but kinda dry. Other patients have told me that the second appointment is different and I am hoping it is. BUT I did not choose him for his charm but because he has the reputation for being a fine surgeon and that is bottom line!!!! rnrnHis office personnel so far are great! Always willing to help when I call. Dale, the benefits coordinator, is also very helpful.rnrnJust an FYI. If you are having your EGD at Doctor's Hospital, be aware that the ONLY pathologist they have there (Dr. Medford McCoy) is NOT in network for EMPIRE BCBS so you WILL be stuck with the bill!!!!!! Even though I verified that the hospital and my surgeon were in network, SILLY ME, I didnt think of the pathologist!!! rnrnI love Dr. Barker but not happy about this whole situation! If you have BCBS and have an EGD scheduled at Doctor's I suggest you have it changed to Renaissance or make sure that you are covered!rnrnCall Dale or Erline!

    Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else.
