It's been a while but not without a lot of activity. We had a houseguest for nearly six weeks and with three of us trying to use the internet at once, I had to let a lot of things slide. I wish I could post photos on this site but it just won't let me. I can't even update my ticker!
Anyway, I am now at 3 months and twelve days and I weigh about 185-186. That's a loss of 55 pounds. I'm still a bigger little girl but I feel positively teeny. I bought a few new blouses for teaching this Fall (I teach college) and they are 16W. My shoe size has dropped from 8 1/2 to 7 1/2. My bras are falling off my shoulders. I'm going to get fitted properly one of these days. I'm losing some hair and I really don't have much too spare but the thought that I will get some new hair is exciting. I bought new glasses. They are Harry Potterish and I like them. I can wear just about anything and that's wonderful.
Just to show that it's not all a bed of roses, I have a bladder infection that I can't get rid of, I really don't enjoy eating anything except egg drop soup and I still have a hard time getting three meals and snacks into my day. Most smells of frying really nauseate me. My three month blood tests were good. Calcium is still a minor problem but I ordered the bariatric advantage lozenges and they're okay. I have the name of a trainer and as soon as school begins, I'll get set up to do something more active than running down the halls during student orientation conferences.
So here, I am and I am getting stronger every day. I like the new me who isn't afraid to walk down the street or get a little feisty when I used to be more passive. It's not an easy road but it isn't hard either - - - just different. I still love my DS and I'm glad I decided to make the decision to get my body together and enjoy my life.
