Dr Berntsen with Dr Dunshee assisting performed the Duodenal Switch on me on 6/4/10 They took out my gallbladder and appendix at the same time. I've had no complications and love my Dr. They have a good follow up program and listen to any concerns I have. She used a 40 fr bougie and 150 cm common channel and it's really worked well for me I just made it to normal bmi yesterday and am so happy I had this surgery.

Scheduled consult!

I started my 6 month diet for insurance requirements september 2nd and have lost 19 pounds.  I got a call from Tallgrass to schedule my consult for January 4, 2010 with Dr Bernita Berntsen.  I'm excited and can't wait for January to get here.  I want my DS now.  I'm so tired of being soo fat and tired all the time.
