Dr Berntsen with Dr Dunshee assisting performed the Duodenal Switch on me on 6/4/10 They took out my gallbladder and appendix at the same time. I've had no complications and love my Dr. They have a good follow up program and listen to any concerns I have. She used a 40 fr bougie and 150 cm common channel and it's really worked well for me I just made it to normal bmi yesterday and am so happy I had this surgery.

Long time!

It's been a while since I've posted.  I'm mostly a lurker.  I'm down to 172 as of this morning 7 more pounds til I'm down 100.
I feel great and am not having any issues.  Well I do have a tiny hemmoroid now but it's almost gone. LOL.  I love my Ds and just wish I'd had it sooner.
