I thought it would be interesting to post my before surgery measurments and compare them to what they are now.
I have lost about a total of 56 inches. That's hard to believe!

Yes its still big, but a LOT less than what it was before! Im very thrilled to see so many inches gone!
I hope my weight loss picks up again, I seem to be at a stall now, but my period is near so I always have a ton of water gain. Just wanted to come update my progress thus far. I will be posting more pics this weekend.

HERE ARE MY CURRENT MEASUREMENTS AS OF 10/19/2008!!
I have lost and ADDITIONAL 50 1/2 inches since 04/08/2008!!!!! I cant beleive it! This makes my grand total of inches lost 106 1/2 inches since my surgery 12/28/2008... I have currently lost 115 pounds+ . I am just in SHOCK!!

I have now lost 60 POUNDS! I think I am in shock more than anything. I really can't even tell I have lost all that weight. Luckily everyone else can! I still see my self 311 pounds. I have donated most of my clothes so far. I had many that were small from years ago like size 22 so it's what I am wearing for now. Thats a long way from 26/28. The 22's are getting a bit too loose now too. Im trying not to buy more clothes but looks like I will be forced to get a few outfits soon. Im still feeling sick, but not as bad as before. I can't really eat normal food yet. My doctor says some people just takes more time than others. I also have not returned back to work yet. Maybe in about 2 weeks I will be well enough. Im on some strong medicine now that makes me sleep mostly. Anyway just wanted to give a update to my page. I am so thankful for this surgery. I will try to do some updated pics soon.

Hi there everyone... it's been a while since I updated.
I was VERY sick after my surgery, and I still have not really gained back all of my strength. I have been back and forth to the hospital. First there was a scare of blood clots, and THANK GOD I did'nt have one.
Last week I was hospitalized again for severe dehydration, and vomiting. I was diagnosed with a stricture, and got a EGD to stretch out my opening. I started to tolerate my fluids better, but Im still having a little problem. I FOR SURE do not want to go back in the hospital again. My surgeon did however tell me there is a chance to get more obstruction, and that it is common to have another one.
On a brighter note, I've lost 32 pounds since my surgery. I am wearing clothes that I have not fit into for a couple of years. Some people are noticing my weight loss. Im still not so much.
I gained weight from the IV fluids in the hospital but that came off after a few days.
I have noticed my skin is so much dryer than before, maybe because of being dehydrated....
I just wanted to come give a quick update on my progress to everyone. Im still not feeling good to sit at the computer for long times. I do however check out OH everyday for short periods at a time. I wanna give a special thanks to CONNIE (TEAL ROSE) for coming to see me at the hospital the day of my surgery. Also to My sweet new Sister Charlotte.. Who I love so much!
Im happy I had my surgery, and hope I will continue losing and being a sucess.

I am so nervous I cant hardly think! My surgeons nurse called me and told me to be at the hospital at 6am instead of 7am.
I am having some strange emotions now that I do not know how to explain. Im basically numb, I cant breath and my chest feels its gonna explode, my hands are also shaking. I guess its a panic attack. I know I will not get any sleep tonight. Everyone please pray for me.
