Arthur M. Carlin, M.D.
What was your first impression of him/her? rn Dr. Carlin was impressive. Dr. Carlin was easy to talk with. I was impressed because he has the ability to see past the store front, so to speak. I stated that she, my daughter, went to the gym with me when my other best friend could not, Dr. Carlin was quick to make note that I considered my daughter to be my one of my best friends. You just know when you meet good people. I felt that he was a good person. I really liked his demeanor. Dr. Carlin was confident yet caring.rnHow did your impression change over time? rn Dr. Carlin was impressive. Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Even befor that I had issues about self confidence because, My Mother was morbidly obese. The kids made fun of me because of her condition. I did not want her to go to any of my school stuff, because of that. I never told her though. Ever time I would try to lose my weight, I always started with determination. some how I would gradually become side tracked and end up losing the battle. It almost seemed as though when someone would give me a compliment of how...
