The New Confident Me

Hey Guys & Gals

Just thought id get on here and say Hello and let yall know that Im doing good I uploaded plenty of new pictures from the professional photoshoot I had done in september
The pictures are really good and as I sit here and look back on my previous photos I see I have truly changed

I notice more changes than just body weight when I look in the mirror I dont down myself anymore I look in the mirror and see a new confident me. When going out to eat I know longer watch people to see if there looking at me or watch them to see if there laughing at me

I have finally gotten to the point in my life where I dont have to care about what others think the only thing that matters is that I love myself and the people that love me love me 2

Me as a whole has changed I now can be myself I can make everyone laugh and smile with my jokes and not have to be worried about being judged and being called the fat funny kid
Instead of sitting on the sidelines watching at a party I now am the party I now run the party and I am the life of it

This surgery has truly changed me and It will continue to be my story of success for years to come

I may have some very rough times but I can honestly say being at the top of this mountain is wonderful and I wouldnt go back to being the old me for nothing

OMG its been forever since I posted

Hey everyone I just wanted to update everyone on me I am down to 176lbs
I am 13mnths and 8 days post op and I feel better than ever

I would go back and change anything I have done for anything in this world

For everyone who hasnt seen me on in a while its because Ive been so busy and I finally just have been enjoying my life to the fullest extent possible

5 Months Post Op

Im 5 Months post op
and IM doing pretty good

Just writing to let everyone know that if you ever need advice or anything pelase let me know.

Im down to 216 from 342 pounds

Im very happy with my size and everything IM been through i wouldnt go back and change it for nothing

10 weeks out and more updates

wanted to get online and let yall know what has been going on for the last two or three weeks
First of all i am down more weight i now weigh 266 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Im so happy the weight is falling right off I am going to post some updated pictures for you after thanksgiving and im still waiting for my b4 pictures that they took at my preop appointment

Also wanted to talk about what happend
 this past weekend i was at a grill out and i had just got finished eating and my heart started racing.

I sat down and waited it for it to slow down but it didnt so i decided i was going to the emergency room.

I got there my heart rate was 201 WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed in the hospital since saturday night at 10pm till today

They said i had a case of A-FIb its is where one chamber of the heart beats faster than the other and you risk getting possible blood clots and circulation problems.

After checking my heart and giving me meds the doctor confirmed there is nothing wrong with my heart.

I am currently taking Rhythmol™ a medication for my heart so it wont happen again hopefully it wont but thank god there is nothing structurally wrong with my heart

Other than that things are really going great

8 Week Weightloss and Updates on me so far

Hello Everyone,

It is now eight weeks since my RNY that was done on September 10th

I am down 68 pounds and feeling wonderful.

For anyone who doesnt know the week before last I went into the doctor for a simple procedure called an EDG they supposedly run a light down your throat into your tummy to check it.

I have been having problems eating food and swallowing and stuff.

Well anyways when they ran that light down they noticed my small intestine was closed up kinda tight.

So the doctor inserted a ballon to open it up when he did the balloon busted and caused an adhesion in my lower intestine.

I had to stay in the hospital four days but Im still holding on.

I feel alot better besides the gas pain that is about really all I had.

I am glad to be home and feeling alot better 

Thank God for having such a wonderful doctor and such a good medical staff to take care of me.

So far so good only god know what is in store for me

So until later on

My Story



Hello everyone my name is Matthew and this is my story.

I grew up in the small little town of Baxley GA. Not Much goes on here just talking talking and more talking.

Its the smallest town in the world if you ask me.

I grew up as a very humble kid and i was very smart.

I was always picked on for being overweight and i just never really fit in.

I was picked on day in and day out. I would sometimes go home and cry myself to sleep because i was hurt so bad.

Over the years i have eaten myself right through the pain i ate and ate.

Now i am 19 years old and i am 5"9 inches tall and weight 342 pounds

Now i am waiting for my surgery day 9/10/2007 the day my life will change forever

Its going to be a new start on love,life, and happiness
