HELLO OH FAMILY!!!!!!!!

Hello OH family! Just a quick line to say hello and to post my update. I am weighing 225 pounds. I have reached my goal. Now my next goal is to be 215 by the end of August. I believe that i can achieve this. And then my goal after that will be to get under 200 pounds by the time i go to the beach in October. We'll see. I am officially in a 18(jean shorts and dresses) and i am still wearing XL tops. But i am sooo happy. I have sooo many people wanting to know my secret. I had one lady last week tell me  that i have dropped down to nothing and she wanted to know what my secret was. I told her that i had gastric bypass and she said that she had considered having it done but she didn't know of anybody that was successful from it until she saw me. So that made me feel good. At church Sunday, i had soo many people come and tell me how good i looked. I don't see alot of these people during the week except on Sunday's and i guess i change every week. Like i said i sing in the church choir and i sit on the front row so i am starred at all the time. I get uncomfortable at times but i am there to serve and please God and not man, so i close my eyes and sing.LOL!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still shy but it's all good. So i have a 75 pound weightloss since my surgery 4 1/2 months ago and 105 pound weightloss since last year. I reminise on last year and i thank God for giving me this opportunity to change my life. This time last year i was 330 pounds and now look how far God has brought me from. I am a blessed person. Anyway my Oh family, i just wanted to say hello and i will update again soon. I AM OFFICIALLY A ROLLERCOASTER RIDER!!!!!!

Hello OH family! Well i went to Carowinds(Amusement park) on Saturday and i am officially a rollercoaster rider! I had sooooo much fun.  You know that even though i have lost alot of weight, i still have that mentality that i am fat. Let me tell you what happened. I was thinking in my mind that i was still too fat to get on the rides. I was very nervous when it was time for me to get on  the rides because i thought that i wasn't going to fit. Well once i got on the ride and the bar closed over my stomach, that was all she wrote. I was cheesing from ear to ear. It felt soooo good to be able to fit on the rides and have plenty of room in the seat.  I had such a wonderful time.  I am currently at 227 which is just 2 pounds away from my second goal of 225. The 18 jean shorts that i wore to Carowinds almost fell off of my butt on one of the Rollercoaster. When i got off the ride, I pulled them up as far as they would go. I bet people seen my underwear but oh well.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!  I have never wore a belt but i should of had one on Saturday.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!  I am just sooooo tickled and i had sooo many people who went on the trip with us to say i looked sooo good.  I am exhausted now from the trip. I acted like a kid and felt like one too.LOL!!!!!!!!  I loved every minute of it. Well OH family i will close now. I just wanted to let everyone know that my trip was a success and i rode a rollercoaster.  So until next time take care and be blessed!

100 POUND WEIGHTLOSS!!!!!!!!!!

OH family, i was soooo excited about my clothing adventure that i forgot to tell you all that i have officially lost 100 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a matter of fact it's 101 lbs lost since i first started this journey back in june of 2006. I can't believe it and i thank God for giving me this opportunity to change my life.  I thank God for giving me new people in my life who has just been an inspiration to me and who has stuck with me through thick and thin. I am talking about my 2 sisters who God has placed in my life forever. Velda B and Tamara A.  Girls, i love yall soooooo much that words can't express my feelings for you 2 right now. I'm just sooo happy that you 2 are a part of my life and i can't do this without you 2.  Well OH family, i will update again soon. Take care and Be Blessed!

HELLO OH FAMILY!!

Well hello OH family! I thought i would update my profile. Well my scale has me weighing........... Drum roll please..........229!!!!!!!!! I am 4 pounds away from my second goal of 225.  I went shopping today at Old Navy and Catherine's. I wanted to see if i could wear the clothes out of Old Navy. Well first off they had these cute shirt dresses that ranged from a XS to XXL. I grabbed a XLdress, a XL shirt that was on sale and a pair of 18 capri jeans. The XL dress fit perfect, the XL shirt fit perfect and I got the 18's on and button them with a little room to spare!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. I haven't been this size since high school and that was 20 years ago.!!!! oops, i'm telling my age,LOL!!!!!!!!!!!  I felt like  i was at a fashion show. The people there were staring and i was like if yall only knew why i am smiling soooooo much, then you all would be smiling for me.  Then we went to Catherine's which is a clothing store for the plus size woman. They had some summer dresses on sale and i picked up a XL and tried it on. It fit me perfect. A XL there is a 18. So my day was wonderful until we went to eat. We went to Golden Coral which is an all you can eat buffet. I presented the cashier with my child portion size card that they gave me after i had the surgery and the manager had the nerve to say, we just stopped accepting those a few weeks ago. I was pissed(excuse me) because i knew that i was going to pay $10 to eat and the only thing that i could eat was a spoonful of Bourbon Chicken and 3 shrimps.  I was very upset. What i should of done was not order me anything and eat off of my children's plates. They only had to pay $3.99.  I'll fix them next time. I won't order anything for myself.  Then the waiter had the nerve to say, is that all that you're going to eat and i told him yes that i was full. He even was trying to convince me to go back and get more. I told them that i knew i couldn't eat a whole lot and i don't see why they couldn't have done that for me.  Anyway, i did end up eating 2 bites of sugarfree chocolate pudding.LOL!!!!!!!  Well my OH family, i just thought that i would update and tell you all what type of adventure i had today.
