My journey starts
on July 31, 2010 2:35 pm

Had my intial meeting with the surgeon on 29 June. He ordered some tests and we met again on 27 July to go over the test results and submit the information to the insurance company. Now I just wait to see if they will approve the surgery. Hopefully it wont be to long... I'm really looking forward to set a date for surgery.

My Story

Hi I am Mary, I am married to a wonderful man and we have four sons. We are expecting our first granddaughter 09 Sep. and our first grandson 28 Oct.
I started to gain weight about a two year after my fourth son was born... about 15 years ago.  I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol & a few months ago I was diagnosed with diabetes. At my doctors visit I discussed my weight and frustration on losing weight with my doctor. I asked about options and surgery was one of the options . He gave me some information and my pointed me in the right direction. My husband and I did some research and decided surgery would be a great tool for me.
