Hiding Update

I am doing my best to be up front with myself and everyone around me. I am working on being accountable to myself. I am still waiting for my period to show up....so ,dealing with those hormonal issues. HOWEVER, it hit me yesterday....I don't have any control over that. None. I DO however, have control over what I put in my mouth. I can choose how I deal with my hormones, stress, and anxieties. I have to assert some control in my life, SOMEWHERE, and I choose to be proud of myself by staying low carb and hitting the gym!

The hormones make it so unfair, I know this all too well. I have so many issues now from the start of this menopause thing, I honestly don't know how anyone makes it out alive. It's scary shit. Good Luck you can do it and you know it will be worth it!

You're right! There's always a "reason" to go crazy and eat/eat/eat. Or, we can always find excuses to carb load and to act like we are not food addicts. Accountability and reasoning are needed for all of us to be successful and keep the weight off.
As for the perimenopausal symptoms...."Th is, too, shall pass." Hang in there.
