Yesterday was great, I got out and went shopping for things I need to decorate the church( I have been appointed head of this commitee) with my friend from church. On our way home she ran out of gas..hehe so I took this time when we had nothing but time to tell her I was pursuing WLS. Well she knows another friend who had it and someone else we both know was looking into it so she was very supportive...YAY!!!  That now makes four  friends and my husband who know. My biggest worry is telling my mother in law. A lot of the time we are the same size and we share a bond through that. I feel somewhat like I will be losing that and taking it away from her. So I will wait a little longer to tell her. I will atleast wait till after the super bowl because well we are from MA and the Pats are in it and she LOVES football!!! We will be going over there for the game. 
    However that brings me to the fact that I haven't heard anything!! I want to get this rolling!!! They said with in two weeks they would call us at the sugery info meeting and that was Thursday so I know this is me not them but I don't want to be away from my phone either...lol ahh well good thing I have plenty to do around here.

Well I went to the meeting tonight. I was glad to get it out of the way, the surgeon who spoke was very nice and upfront about the risks and the benifits. I feel even more sure now that this is what I am suppose to do. They had us hand in questionares and they said they would be calling with in the next two weeks. It feels like everything takes so long but the Surgeon explained that also. He talked about the emotional change that goes along with this surgery and getting prepared mentally as well as physically. So that was tonight now I wait for the call.

Tonight I am waiting for tomorrow night. Tomorrow night is a surgical information meeting at umass medical. After reading so many stories about how long it takes to have the surgery and be on the losing side I feel overwhelmed. I know it is a process and I am glad to have a blog..lol so here I am waiting and I will see tomorrow.
