Had my three month appointment the other day and things are going well. According to their scale I have lost 64lbs but of course it was in the middle of the day and I had eaten and everything. Anyway, I'm right on track for weight loss. So far things have been great. Except, I DID have to have my gall bladder out a few weeks ago. Note to self and others: take the meds they tell you to. I wasn't taking my actigall and foolishly thought I would be ok. I was wrong. Pain. Excruciating pain. In my back, belly and shoulders. Anyway, other than that I've had no complications. I can tolerate all the foods I have tried and have been getting in my protein and fluids, mostly, and am starting on vitalady's ds program soon. So far I am pleasantly surprised at how well I feel.

Me! Apparently when I get 12 vials of blood taken this is what happens. Jeez. I have alwaysbeen prone to freaking out a bit when I get the blood taken but this is extreme.

Anyway. So, this week is full of appointments. Thursday I have the nutrition and Psych meetings and Friday I'll meet with my surgeon. I'm excited. I know I have to wait at least three months for the nutrition counseling for Aetna but I feel like that gives me a little time to process things emotionally and mentally. I have been having a rough couple of days just with a lot of stress and it feels like I just needs some good news.

So, that's what is going on for now.
