Grrr....

Ok..I have finally found a protein powder that does not make me gag. It is Maximum Protein by Energie. I have only tried the chocolate but I am wanting to try the strawberry and vanilla. Since they are quite expensive I thought I would email the company and asked if they offered samples. I WOULD HAVE PAID FOR THEM. I gave a very detailed email. Told them that I love their product, etc. I get a response back this morning and it is not even a complete sentence! I have attacted it below. I'm not even upset that they do not have samples..although I find it hard to believe. I am upset that customer service can not address me in a more personal matter.Just needed to vent!

SEI Pharmaceuticals does not samples of the protein to send out.   Regards, Customer Service

My Story

I have had weight issues of some sort my entire life. When I was young, I was diagnosed as borderline bulemic. I had a nervous stomach and had a hard time keeping anything down. Thought this was normal until I hit the 3rd grade and my life changed dramaticly. I changed schools, my mom got remarried, we moved...life happened. I started gaining weight rapidly and that is when my battle with gaining began. When I turned 15, I admitted myself into an eating disorder clinic. I weighed in at 222. I was the youngest patient and ED patients went through the program with A/D patients. I was young, scared and somewhat sheltered and until this point had no idea what the world was really like. I was successful in the program until I went away to college and the freshman 15 turned into the freshman 50. After graduating college, I moved back home and got married. My ex-husband had WLS 6 weeks after we got married. I can honestly say that because of him, I know what NOT to do. He changed his addictions as some often do. He was not emotionally ready for such a life change. My weight continued to increase. My responsibilities increased. I continued to put myself last and did not concentrate on my weight or my health. We had tried to have children but were not successful. I was diagnosed with PCOS. Long story short, 5 and half years later, we divorced. I was turning 30 and no where where I thought I would be at 30. I weighted in at 292.5. I decided at that moment I had to get a grip and fast. I started the WLS process, was approved and had gastric bypass on 11/06/07. I am down 70 pounds and feel great. This has been the extra push, that tool that I needed to sucessfully loose weight.
