Funky Friday Update...YOU LIED TO ME?!

First off I have neglected to write you guys and tell you whats going on in the wonderful world of Micah Land. Two weeks ago I decided I would be changing surgeons, I just got this wierd feeling about the surgeon that I was going to, plus he lied to me and was extremely unprofessional, those are the keys to losing trust with me in any type of professional relationship. They called me in for this surprise consultation after they had cancelled my november 4th date and moved it to november 11th. heres what happened...

The surgeon calls me in and starts telling me that he didnt think I would make my weight loss goal, remind you that I had achieved 33 of the 50lbs he wanted me to lose. So in the mddle of this meeting his cell phone rings, its like his wife or friend or something but it was in no way medically related, he held this 10 minute conversation while im just sitting there. IT WAS SO RUDE. At that point I felt so disrespected that I was ready to storm out of there. But I have more class and dignity then that so I sat there, and he keeps telling me how I wont be able to lose the weight. So I told him "I respect your medical opinion but I dont accept it and I know I will be ready but your the so-called surgeon so you should know best"...yea I know I shouldnt of called him "so-called", but this guy was just rambling and I needed to shut him up.

So then he said well thats all. Then I left, but not before they called me back in with the office manager, unlike her boss she is sweet as pie, so she tells me the real reason they changed it is because he is going out of the country to see his family. HUH? So he lied to me? I respect a honest person, but I HATE a liar. I was just like ok well you guys have a nice day. MAN I WAS SO HEATED! All that putting me down to make me feel like I wouldnt be able to lose the weight when he could of just told me the honest thruth, thats some bull!

So I decided I would change surgeons, so now I am back in square one. My consultation with my new surgeon is the day before my orignal surgery date(nov 4th). So we will see what happens, I am just waiting patiently, no more rushing, I am just letting GOD have his way. Because I honestly believe that things are done in his divine order.
