Chocolate Nut Protein Bars

1 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of butter
12 oz of carob chips (by weight) ( i think you could also used unsweetened baking chocolate instead of carob chips but i would use sweetened coconut if doing so)

1/2 cup of sesame seeds
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup of wheat germ
1/2 pumpkin seeds
1 &1/4 cup of whole almonds
1 cup unsweetened coconut

Toast almonds and chop about half of them into halves
Add everything except butter peanut butter and carob to a bowl and mix.

Melt peanut butter butter and carob  over low heat. when well melted add to dry ingredients in bowl and mix.

Put into a 9 by 13 pan and cut into square (the mixture will still be soft at this point)

Refrigerate and enjoy

Peanut butter protein Brownies

16 oz of peanut butter by weight
1/3 cup almond meal
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup oatmeal
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
16 tablespoons of splenda for baking
4 scoops of vanilla protein powder

Mix all together  and press into a small cake pan (the mixture is very dry) .  Bake at 350 for 20 mins or until done.
As soon as the bars come out of the oven top with 2 ozs of unsweetened baking chocolate or similar ( i used 70 grams of 85% cocoa chocolate) As the chocolate melts brush onto the top of the brownies.

Cool and enjoy.
